Meet Ms. Candida Richards
Ms. Candida Richards serves as Senior eLearning Consultant.
Ms. Richards is a Training and Development Professional with over ten years of experience in the areas of traditional and online training: delivering training, designing and developing courses, leading teams of designers and trainers, directing strategic organizational initiatives. A proven track record of significant improvements in learning processes, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction while reducing costs, and maintaining a positive work environment. Dynamic leader, strategic thinker and decision-maker.
She currently serves as Vice President for Bank Atlantic University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A., where she designs and implements organizational learning strategies to ensure alignment with business goals. She also oversees the development of bank-wide curricula comprising of e-learning courses and modules. She serves as an organizational content expert in all aspects of teaching and learning, including current trends and research as it pertains to bank-wide training. She collaborates with the Instructional Design team to ensure new courses are created and existing courses are updated. She provides internal consulting in training and organizational development to various departments within the bank. In her banking career she is a dynamic leader, strategic thinker and prime decision-maker.
Ms. Richards also served as Training and Technology Manager for Crown Worldwide Group, a multinational company located in 43 countries in 6 continents. In this role, she produced training programs to achieve standardization among multiple regions and synchronized training efforts with the company’s performance management system.
She also worked with regionally –accredited universities on their eLearning programs while overseeing all aspects related to eCampus’ web-based course management systems. She maintained approximately 120 online e-learning courses per month. She created documentation and instructions for faculty, students and other internal parties providing technical support for multiple instructors and approximately 2000 students on a monthly basis.
She is currently pursuing her degree in Business Management and holds Certifications in Managing the Learning Function, ASTD, Office Certified User Specialist, Microsoft and is a Candidate for SPHR. Certification. She is a member of American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
Ms. Richards’ hobbies are walking, swimming, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
