Meet Ms. Carolann Somers
Ms. Somers serves as the Administrator for the TLI-USA Office for The Language Institute Inc (TLI).
Ms. Somers will function as the Administrator and will work with the Vice President of Growth & Development to ensure that the needs of all customers are met with quality and consistency. She will also oversee a smooth flow in the company’s daily operation and administration. Ms. Somers has over 20 years experience as an HR professional, a Corporate Office Manager and a Contract/Licensing/Permitting Paralegal.
As an HR corporate manager who worked for a Fortune 500 company, she was responsible for the employee relations corporate program, HRIS program that included record retention, and hiring processes for over 700 corporate employees. In the role of Corporate Office Manager, she was responsible for over 22 corporate employees who functioned as a support team for the Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Business Development and all business divisions. Her experience as a Paralegal also includes the managing, coordinating and maintaining of contracts, licenses and permits required for legal compliance within the hotel industry at both the corporate and hotel level.
She also served as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Florida & The Caribbean of Bakke Graduate University responsible for the coordination of expansion efforts that contribute to the development and growth of the Caribbean, Central and South America region, as well as worked closely with both students and local leadership within the region.
